What Is It?

The Obstacle Course is the signature event of Field Day Challenge β€” a custom-designed outdoor course built for speed, agility, and pure determination. Teams run the course relay-style, each member completing every obstacle before tagging in the next.

The course changes each event to keep it fresh, but always includes a mix of crawling, jumping, climbing, and running elements designed to test every physical skill your team has.

Strategy & Tips

πŸ—ΊοΈ
Walk the course before you run it. If there's time before your heat, walk every stage and visualize your path. Teams that scout the course run it faster.
πŸƒ
Put your fastest starters first and last. A fast first runner sets the pace and a fast closer seals the win. Your slowest runners go in the middle where the time gap is less critical.
🀝
Make clean tags. A sloppy tag costs more time than a slow runner. Practice your handoff. Touch hands clearly before the next runner moves.
😀
Don't stop at the finish line. Run through the line β€” not to it. Runners who slow down before they cross consistently finish slower than those who run past it.
